Happy Birthday, dear “Life’s a Daring Adventure”.
It was a year ago today that I purchased the URL that best represents how I see the world.
This morning in my journal I was reflecting how websites, like us humans, have a rhythm, a beat. What started as a dream is more than that now. It is a site where I can engage with folks like me on creating new daring adventures in our lives. I so believe in my heart that midlife women still have one more dream they want to accomplish. I know I do.
Susan Fitzmaurice’s quote really struck a cord. Others might not understand us wanting to change. Others might hope that we will stay just as they’ve known us for so long. But then our internal rhythm takes hold and WOW we need more. We need to relook at our life in terms of the season we’re in.
Spring in Wisconsin is beautiful. Drab gray and brown suddenly become vibrant green. Fields of corn and soybeans suddenly become fodder for life.
That’s how I feel this day celebrating my idea’s birthday.
I hope those I work with, know and love will see courage.
